HALEY ORMSBY (Chair)
Haley Ormsby is Chair of the Board for ReachOut. She holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Utah and loved working in the mortgage industry before having children. She and her husband, Wayne, have three wonderful teenagers. Haley has lived all over the country while her husband was in school and training. “Bridging gaps has not only opened my eyes to the needs in the world, but the needs in our own community. Action. Change needs action.” Haley enjoys singing, running, and listening to podcasts about finance and running in her free time.
Marisol Fleming brings with her years of experience in business, education, and volunteer work in a variety of companies and organizations both in the US and internationally. Her favorite people are her husband and three children. Marisol's passion for helping individuals recognize their worth, especially young people, and her genuine care for others is contagious.
Marjorie Green is the Chair of the Programs Committee for the ReachOut Board. She is a dedicated wife and mother to her four children. Marjorie graduated with a B.S. in Interpersonal Communication with a minor in Business from the University of Utah. Marjorie is compassionate, dependable and capable yet her willingness to serve is her greatest strength! She is held in high regard by all that know her.
Erin Harmsen is passionate about the needs of children in our community. She has been volunteering and working in the public schools for two decades one-on-one with students, as a substitute teacher, with the PTA organization, and most recently as the Art Specialist for grades K-6 at Meadow Elementary in Lehi, Utah. Erin has experience as a care provider for children with special needs, recreational therapist and academic tutor. As a part of her academic tutoring business, Erin specialized in providing hands-on timing and sequencing training called Interactive Metronome that improves attention span, processing, memory, self-regulation and motor coordination to kids who are struggling in the classroom. Erin has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University. Erin loves anything outdoors, Broadway musicals, cooking, traveling and spending time with her six teenagers and husband, Steve.
Keoki Williams has for 30 years run Keoki Design, designing logos and visual branding for various companies from start-ups to large corporations, in the United States and China. Keoki is a critic on all things visual, from classic cars to billboards, and especially loves design. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University’s design program and has won national awards for his work. Keoki understands the power of visual branding and integrates its essential elements in all my work. He is dedicated to providing for those in need.
Shannon graduated from the University of Utah with a BSA in Exercise Sports Science. She also received a minor in Dance Education at Southern Utah University. She has worked in the Dance industry for over 20 years. In 2008 she created an After School Dance Program for Davis County School District, to provide lessons for underprivileged students. Her passion for dance has been a great outlet for serving others. She is a dance teacher and director at Creative Arts Academy. As a member of their faculty, for over 12 years, she is grateful for the opportunities it has given her, to inspire young dancers and to reach out to her community. As a board member of ReachOut she hopes to continue to inspire our local at risk youth, in meaningful and positive ways. Shannon resides in Bountiful with her husband and four children.
Jayna Hendershot currently works part time with a local non-profit as a parent educator and home visitor with Children's Service Society. She serves on the board for an international Humanitarian organization called Worldwide Child Relief Foundation and works specifically with a program for children with special needs in a small village in Nicaragua. She speaks Spanish and loves any chance to practice. Jayna has 6 children ages ranging from 7 to 18. She loves doing anything outdoors and spending time with her family.
Rebekah Carter has a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in History and Political Science from Utah Valley University. She worked with the Boys and Girls Club of Utah County which instilled a love for working with children and the community. She seeks to grow and make a difference to those around her. In her spare time, she loves to bake, watch movies, spend time with family, and read. Rebekah currently serves as the secretary for the ReachOut Board.
