Donate your skills or materials to our hair salons and packs

POP-UP HAIR SALONS

Our free salons only work with the generous donation professional hairdressers give of their time. We need them, and they need equipment to work their loving magic. To make this project succeed we are asking you for the following: 

​

  • If you’re a licensed hairdresser and would like to use your skills to help those less fortunate contact us at info@reachouttoday.org! We’d love for you to join our pop-up salon team!

  • Donations of new tools or funds to buy tools for our hairdressers to use

​

For Girls

  • 1 full sized shampoo

  • 1 full sized conditioner

  • 1 small wet brush

  • 1 detangler spray

For the following 2 packs please buy the materials, put together, and deliver packs to us for distribution. Materials must be NEW. Contact info@reachouttoday.org to organize delivery. We appreciate your time and help!

HAIR CARE PACKS

As an individual, family or group you could assemble hair care packs! In an appropriate sized Zip-Lock plastic bag include the following:

For Boys

  • 1 full sized shampoo

  • 1 full sized conditioner

  • 1 comb

  • 1 full sized hair gel

  • 1 toothbrush

  • 1 full size toothpaste

HYGIENE PACKS

Also you could assemble hygiene kits! In an appropriate sized Zip-Lock plastic bag include the following:​

  • 1 deodorant

  • 1 bar of soap

  • 1 full sized shampoo

FAMILY HYGIENE BOXES

In a large/appropriate sized box include the following:

​

  • 6 deodorants

  • 6 bars of soap

  • 6 full sized shampoos

  • 6 full sized conditioners 

  • 6 adult toothbrushes 

  • 6 full sized toothpaste tubes

  • 6 disposable razors

  • 1 bottle of laundry detergent 

  • 1 bottle of dishwasher detergent

  • 3 bottles of handwashing soap

  • 2 paper towel rolls

  • 6 rolls of toilet paper

PERIOD PACKS

As an individual, family or group you could assemble Period Packs! In an fun opaque bag (so the packs are discreet) include the following:

​

  • 7-20 normal pads

  • 2-5 overnight pads

  • 5 individual packaged wipes (optional)

​

Ideas for the kinds of bags you can use: makeup bags, large pencil pouch, zipper bags, etc.
